Presenting one of our most sentimental jewels in the collection, this crescent moon brooch is crafted from solid 14K white gold and set with a colorful array of glass gemstones and diamonds. Deeply symbolic, crescent moons are representative of so very much and could be given for a multitude of occasions. Fascinated with meaningful motifs, crescent moons were often gifted during the Victorian era and were intended to show one’s hope that a relationship would “wax” into a marriage. When worn in the hair crescent moons were traditionally associated with the goddess Diana, the patroness of nature and wildlife, childbirth, fertility, the nighttime, and of crossroads.
