A stunning, fine and impressive Italian 1950s 0.80ct lapis lazuli, 0.70ct turquoise and 0.18ct diamond, 18k yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold.
The yellow gold brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised lion's mask design; this has been determined by the nature of the interlacing wirework decorated setting with subtly alternating curvilinear strands around the mammal-shaped muzzle.
The cheeks/muzzle are further ornamented with a total of six individually claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 0.18ct.
This exceptional brooch incorporates two cabochon cut lapis lazuli, representing the eyes, in addition to a cabochon cut turquoise completing the design.
The antique brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and push fit fastening.
This vintage gemstone brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with an Italian mark (ITALY) an the 18k fineness mark (18K).
This impressive vintage lapis lazuli brooch is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
