An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian 9 karat yellow gold dog brooch in the form of a terrier; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique gold bar brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. The plain bar brooch is ornamented to the center with a three-dimensional terrier design. The dog motif has a textured finish, replicating anatomical features and undulating hairs of the canine's coat. This exceptional example of antique jewelry secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and hallmarked clasp. The clasp and bar are each hallmarked with the 9k gold fineness mark (9CT). This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9k gold. Condition This impressive original antique gold dog brooch is excellent quality. The brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the reverse of the bar and clasp.
