This marvelous retro vintage ribbon pin brooch was crafted from solid 14k rose gold and solid platinum, and is dated 1938. It features a set of 7 natural genuine square step cut rubies that have been certified by GIA as being 100% natural stones, originated from Burma with no indication of heating. They are truly fine quality stones displaying the most beautiful and rich red color throughout and total approximately 1.40 carats in weight. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a crown/coronet.
The band of the crown is embellished with five individually collet set oval faceted cut garnets.
The lower portion of the band, arch and cap of the crown are ornamented with twenty-five claw set mine cut diamonds, integrated with bands of bead decoration.
