About the Item
Sculpted and simple, yet stunning, is this pair of double sided cufflinks from the late Victorian period. The central area of the pearl has been carved to a lower plane than has the rim, a detail that gives the sphere added interest and enhances the appearance of volume. Volume is also supplied by the addition of a substantial gold disk back on each sphere. Central to each round is a full cut diamond set in a tiny square. Elegant and clean , these cufflinks maintain their original lustre.
