About the Item
A wonderful pair of jet cufflinks from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each cufflink features two ellipse-shaped piece of jet. The jet is smooth and simple, and displays a dark black hue. The jet pieces are backed in gold, and each face is linked to the other by a gold connector. The back of each cufflink is marked with a "14K" purity mark and a small diamond-shaped maker's mark. An elegant pair, these cufflinks would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian-era collection!
Measurements: Each cufflink face measures a little more than 3/4" tall, 1/4" wide. The connectors are approximately 7/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or jet. The connectors are secure and intact.
