Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer Vintage 1950s Emerald Lake Green Cross Flower Crystals Rectangle Baguette Circle Openwork Elegant Modernist Clip Earrings, Silver Tone
Mitchel Maer was a prominent American designer who lived in England during the 1950s. During this time, he created jewellery under his own name and also collaborated with Christian Dior from 1952 to 1956. His unique designs often incorporated elements of Victorian style.
Objects bearing the label 'Mitchel Maer' were created under his eponymous brand, while those designed for the fashion house were marked with 'CHRISTIAN DIOR BY MITCHEL MAER' on an oval plaque.
