About the Item
An important pair of Oprah Winfrey worn platinum (PT950), diamond, fancy-color sapphire, and enamel chandelier fan earrings.
Of a drop fan design, the earrings are attached to the ear via a post, the front of the earrings showing asscher cut diamonds housed in bezels of black enamel suspending tapered baguettes of graduating widths and lengths. These bezel set baguettes suspend fancy cut diamonds, each of these accented by small round brilliant diamonds which suspend asscher cut diamonds. Finally, these asschers suspend the fan motif which is composed of long tapered baguette diamonds which are attached to large scalloped fan shapes which graduate from round brilliant diamonds to ombre pink and purple sapphires, the scalloped fans stones being pave set.
The reverse of each earring is finished in an openwork design to allow maximal light penetration through each stone.
