About the Item
A pair of 18K yellow gold J Hoop earrings centered around bezel set rubies against a background of pave set diamonds. There are a total of six oval faceted rubies which are a vivid red with some flashes of purplish-pink. The rubies weigh a total of 4.07ct. The round brilliant cut diamonds are set in a white gold plate and weigh a total of 0.86ct of G/H color and VS2/VS1 clarity. Each earring is bordered on 3 sides by 4mm pearls, offering an almost Baroque period quality. The earrings are 1 1/8 inches long and have a slight taper from the bottom measuring 5/8 inches wide, to the top measuring 3/8 inch wide. Equipped with posts and fold down omega backs for ease of wear. Posts can be removed at no charge if requested. Stamped on the back of one earring is 750 (for 18K gold) and 407 (for the total weight of the rubies). On the back of the other earring is stamped 086 (for the total weight of the diamonds). Gross weight 20.9 grams.
