About the Item
This stunning pair of earrings feature to fine malachite relief carvings portraying busts of young women in the Greek Revival taste. The cameos are mounted in wavy gold mounts within outer frames decorated with 20 fine oriental pearl beads each. The earrings are designed for pierced ears but are fitted with an unusual and elegant clip mechanism. The clips on the reverse of the earrings are finely engraved.
The malachite cameos show natural inclusions to the stone.
