About the Item
A magnificent pair of tanzanite and diamond clip on earrings in 18 karat yellow and white gold.
Each earring features a large scissor-cut (similar to square-cut) tanzanite of a deep violetish-blue colour which is rubover-set in a yellow gold collet. Each tanzanite is surrounded by a halo of 16 baguette cut and 8 round brilliant cut diamonds all channel-set in white gold.
These are a spectacular pair of tanzanite earrings which echo that of the Art Deco period! It is incredibly rare to find stones of this size and to have them as a perfectly matching pair! The earrings are secured with an omega clip fitting and a comfort rubber. These can have a post added for pierced ears! Please enquire.
Dimensions: 2.4x2.4cm. Tanzanites approximately 22 carats in total. Diamonds approximately 3.14 carats in total, F/G colour, VS clarity. Baguette cuts 2.42ct, Round Brilliant cuts 0.72ct.
