About the Item
Presented is a cheerful pair of vintage Chanel square button earrings with cherry red glass cabochons. The red adds a perfect little dash of color an outfit. The earrings were produced by Maison Gripoix for Chanel for season 28 in 1991. The stunning, cherry red central cabochons are crafted using the famous Gripoix "poured glass" technique, a signature of high-end Chanel vintage accessories. The square shape is framed in rich, gold-plated metal featuring an intricate, engraved border that reads "CHANEL PARIS". Each clip back earrings is 1 inch square and plated in 18K gold. The earrings have the oblong Chanel signature plaque on the back inscribed with CHANEL, copyright and registry stamps, CC logo and 'Made in France.' Excellent condition.
