About the Item
This vintage pair of 18K yellow gold and lapis lazuli clip on earrings, imagined and created by designer Charles Turi,* will delight any woman who loves larger scale earrings. A twisted gold knot in the center of each earring is flanked by four fluted, rich blue, lapis lazuli panels. The earrings exude the optimism and feel of the late 20th Century with fine style, excellent craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Measures 1 1/4 inches long by 7/8 of an inch across the widest point by just over 3/8 of an inch high. Each is stamped Turi 18K on the clip. Gross weight 37..1 grams.
* Charles Turi was a Romanian jewelry designer, who relocated to Paris 1950 and later moved again to New York City where he continued to produce articles of fine jewelry.
