Colombian emerald and diamond earrings. A matching pair, each set to centre with one octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with insignificant indications of clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting, two in total, with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, further set with sixteen round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings, thirty two in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.10 carats, to an impressive asymmetric cluster design featuring curving claws and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to reverse with an adjustable post and hinge clip, approximately 1.8cm in length. Marked platinum, tested white gold, marked 'GW', indistinct maker's mark, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-694.
