About the Item
This striking vintage pair of late-20th Century fashion earrings have, as their focal point, two quite large jadeite jade panels which are each painstakingly hand pierced and carved in stylized floral motifs. Surrounding these panels are delicately crafted black onyx borders terminating at the bottom in gold bases, set with brilliant cut diamonds and ruby cabochons. Total approximate weight of all brilliant cut diamonds is .15ct and overall quality is H color and VS2 clarity. Total approximate weight of two ruby cabochons is 1.15ct. With dimensions of 1 5/8 inches by 1 inch, this pair can honestly be described as "Grand Scale." Each earring is stamped 750, designating 18k gold. The pair are equipped with fold down omega style clip backs as well as posts. Gross weight 26.70 grams.
