About the Item
These spectacular Lucite dangling clip-on earrings were designed by Harriet Bauknight for Kaso in the 1980s. The large dangling shape with a donut design features dimensional multilayers of Lucite with colorful polka dot inclusions. The pieces boast purple, green, yellow, and red colors over an orange background with a frosted finish. The Kaso paper sticker tag has been removed but the design and the gray background are an unmistakable brand signature.
Harriet Bauknight is an American Fashion designer who worked in the 1980s and the 1990s under the brand Kaso. She is well-known for her extravagant jeweled lucite handbags and fashion accessories. Her jewelry pieces are scarce and extremely collectible.
The earrings are in good condition, but the original rotating clip fastenings were changed by the previous owner.
