About the Item
Harriet Bauknight designed these impressive Lucite or resin clip-on earrings for her brand Kaso in the 1980s. The massive dangling shape features an asymmetric door-knocker in licorice black Lucite with colorful glitter effect inclusions. The inclusions boast a zig-zag pattern with rust-red and green-gold colors. The rotating clip design and back background are unmistakable brand signatures, even without the Kaso logo paper sticker.
Harriet Bauknight is an American Fashion designer who worked in the 1980s and the 1990s under the brand Kaso. She is well-known for her elegant jeweled Lucite handbags and fashion accessories. Her jewelry pieces are scarce and very collectible.
