About the Item
Whimsical oversized Lucite clip-on earrings designed by Harriet Bauknight for Kaso in the 1980s. They feature a dimensional apple shape, all carved with ruby red and emerald green colors and mirror-textured effects.
The Kaso paper sticker was removed, but the gray background and the specific rotating clip back are unmistakable brand signatures.
The earrings are in good condition, and the apple and the leaf consist of two elements glued together. A few traces of glue are visible on the underside of one earring.
Measurements: 1.88 in width (4.8 cm) x 2.19 in height (5.5 cm) x 0.69 in depth (1.7 cm).
Note: American fashion designer Harriet Bauknight produced jewelry and accessories under the Kaso brand in the 1980s and 1990s. She had a small jewelry company in Easley, South Carolina. She is well-known for her extravagant jeweled Lucite handbags and jewelry collection.
