About the Item
These are the cutest Lucite dangling clip-on earrings Harriet Bauknight designed for Kaso in the 1980s. They feature a lagoon blue Lucite dimensional bead fastening complemented by a rounded transparent pebble element in which a green frog is embedded. The frog has a mirrored textured pattern. For froggy lovers!!
The Kaso paper sticker was removed, but the gray background and the specific rotating clip back are unmistakable brand signatures.
The earrings are in good condition. One transparent pebble has a tiny chip at the back, which is hardly visible from the front. Check the close-up.
Measurements: 1.69 in width (4.3 cm) x 2.25 in height (5.7 cm) x 0.63 in depth (1.6 cm).
Harriet Bauknight, a prominent American fashion designer, established the esteemed brand Kaso in the 1980s and 1990s. She had a small jewelry company in Easley, South Carolina. She is well-known for her extravagant jeweled Lucite handbags and jewelry collection.
