Lina Baretti faux white and grey pearl and gilt leaf earclips, enhanced with small gilt beads pegged and sewn to a bed of rhodeoid silvered paillettes. Clip back fittings, Unsigned.
Excellent Condition.
Length 2" x Width 1".
Lina Baretti created ingenious and sculptural jewelry for Schiaparelli ,Chanel,and Balanciaga from relatively plain materials. Baretti used feathers, cork, glass beads, ribbon and metal , that once twisted and molded together by her magic became some of the most sought after couture pieces from the 1930 s through to the 1970 s. Baretti's designs were snapped up by Parisian high society and the fashion elite.
