These classic Seaman Schepps turbo shell earrings have richly colored amethyst terminals. The stones are faceted. The earrings are 14 karat gold, an indication that they were made before the mid 1970's when Schepps changed to 18 karat gold. They are marked PSV of Seaman Schepps. This refers to the founder's daughter, Patricia Vail Schepps who ran the company after her father's death in 1962 until 1992.
