The Long Pleats Earrings by Alina in satinated aluminium are iconic pieces from her "Sous les Toits de Paris" collection launched in 2020 at IBU gallery in Palais Royal in Paris, her permanent gallery for 15 years.
Aluminium is a light metal which allows to make big sculptures to wear around the face without being heavy. Strong, spiky, powerful, protective, architectural, pure. For urban Queens. True sculptures to wear, simply beautiful and well proportioned from each side for those who are not afraid.
Alina soulfuly and delicately wraps the warm wax directly around her fingers, wrists and neck in one single quick mouvement, that s why they are so soft and easy to wear, despite their size and volume.
Alina s pieces are all one of a kind ergonomic sculptures to wear, created with the lost wax technique. There are no molds, that means they are all different one from another.
Alina is a true jewelry artist, all her jewelry pieces are handmade by her. Cast accidents are welcome.
She puts all her love and energy inside, her pieces are powerful and sensual, a burst of energy and spirituality.
As they are not guilded, oxydation due to air and finger marks is normal. Use soapy water for aluminium and a mild brush or a specific product for bronze, except on the patinated parts. Rinse and dry carefully with a soft cloth. No special care instructions for black patinated silver rings. Please contact Alina if revision needed.
