About the Item
This beautiful antique jewelry set is consisting of a pair of earrings and a brooch. The set has a beautiful filigree and cannetille work design. Both, earrings and brooch, have dangling tassels below the top. These remarkable pieces of jewelry were worn by women in the southern part of The Netherlands, around 1880-1889.
These jewels represent a varied and rich historical Dutch cultural heritage, worn by women in some parts of the Netherlands. It was part of the regional costume. The set is in very good condition. Marked, tested as 14k gold.
