Antique Etruscan Revival 14K yellow gold and enamel dangle earrings

These beautiful earrings feature detailed black enamel decoration depicting stylized wing motifs, foliate scrolls and delicate florals. The central H-form gold elements allow the bases of the earrings to move for added interest. Etruscan Revival pieces are a wonderful way to commemorate a special trip to Europe as was done in the 19th century for the Grand Tour voyages. The style is highly admired for the excellent quality, unusual design and association with travel to Italy in particular, to explore the country's archaelogical treasures.
