About the Item
A pair of diamond, enamel, silver and yellow gold earrings, each comprising twenty-nine rose cut diamonds, a panel of blue enamel, set in silver, backed in 18 karat yellow gold, with 18 karat yellow gold fittings.
These delicate earrings are formed as 2 rows of rose cut diamonds, set in shining silver, across which a ribbon of blue enamel is curled. From this section, a floral drop is suspended, with sparkling rose cut diamonds studding 4-petalled flowers and leaves. The centres of the flowers are shining gold beads, referencing the gold surrounding the enamel. The diamonds catch the light wonderfully, sparkling from within their silver settings, and contrasting beautifully with the deep blue sweep of enamel. The earrings are articulated, allowing them to move with you, and are an elegant length. The earrings are complete with yellow gold ear hooks, which are likely to be later replacements (but are of good, strong quality). The earrings are in good condition, with some possible old solder residue on the floral sections. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
