Art Deco diamond and jade earrings. A matching pair of earrings, each set with one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total, with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, suspending one rectangular baguette cut diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total, with a combined weight of 0.20 carats, each suspending an intricately carved natural jade plaque. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to a elegant pair of drop earrings, flowing with movement, featuring polished edges, linear pierced galleries and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 4.5cm in length. Tested platinum, fittings marked platinum, circa 1920.
