About the Item
Enchanting Chantecler of Capri coral and diamond long dangle earrings. These earrings radiate with the soft Mediterranean pink glow of their angel skin coral beads and glitter with brilliance of their diamonds. Their maker Chantecler, founded on the Italian island of Capri where it is still based, has been a favorite of international jet set since Italian La Dolce Vita era of the 1950s when stars such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, and Ingrid Bergman prized their captivating jewelry designs. The family-owned jeweler remains popular to this day with in-the-know international clientele who visit their exquisite boutique in Capri. The earrings feature a graceful line of graduated angel skin coral beads of beautiful soft pink hue, separated by sparkling clusters of pavé-set fine round diamonds. They are set in luminous 18 karat rose and white gold. The coral beads are of superior quality: perfectly round, without blemishes, and of even color hue. These earrings measure impressive 3.15 inches (8cm) and dangle gracefully with the movement of their wearer. Upon close inspection you can notice the top diamond interval has a charming rooster silhouette - a joyous symbol of Chantecler jewelry house and one with which they covertly decorate most of their creations. Chantecler exceptional attention to detail is also visible in the back of the earrings where the rooster silhouette is repeatedly rendered in rose gold. The earrings have posts for pierced ears and are in excellent condition. They are signed Chantecler Capri, with a serial number and Italian hallmarks including a stamp for 18 karat gold. Radiating nonchalant and joyous glamour and glowing with warm pink hue of Mediterranean sunsets, these elegant earrings will delight you with their Capri island charm.
