About the Item
These remarkable haute joaillerie Colombian emerald and diamond earrings center on two pear-shaped emeralds of outstanding quality, weighing 2.97 carats and 2.67 carats respectively. Exhibiting a Muzo green hue, the emeralds display vivid saturation and excellent presence, with the lively glow and depth of color characteristic of fine Colombian material. The emeralds show minor clarity enhancement, a designation that is exceptionally rare in stones of this caliber, as emeralds of these size, color, and visual purity are seldom found with such minimal treatment.
Each emerald measures 13.75 × 8.03 × 5.22 mm and 13.71 × 8.00 × 4.85 mm. The pear-shaped centers are framed by 4.32 ct of round emeralds, carefully selected to ensure consistency in color and intensity.
Enhancing the composition are 1.93 ct of pear-shaped diamonds and 1.86 ct or round diamonds, offering a crisp contrast to the saturated green emeralds and adding refined brilliance throughout the design. Crafted in 18K white gold, the earrings blend intricate micro-setting techniques with an aesthetic that feels both contemporary and richly ornamental, evocative of 1001 Nights. The bold, floral-inspired silhouette is executed with precision.
