About the Item
These intricately made moretto earrings are a beautiful example of this style of Moor's heads jewellery. The heads are carved from ebony. The turban and kaftan are made out of silver and adorned with emeralds, rubies and diamonds set in 9k gold. Each piece of ebony is clearly hand carved into the head of a Moor and each one if different from one another. Another charming detail is that the right hand earring has a ruby earring dangling from the right ear while the left hand earring has one on the Moor's left ear.
