French antique Earrings with carved cherubs.
Gorgeous pair of antique dangle drops earrings created in Paris France during the Georgian period, circa 1820. The earrings are suspended with two magnificent white coral carvings of winged cherubs facing slightly to the sides. The expression details on their faces, hair and wing feathers that adorn them are superb. Each one is embellished with three graduated hanging elements of the same material, in briolette cut.
Fitted with French hooks for pierced ears.
Weight: 14.95 Grams, (9.58 Dwt).
Measurements: 26 mm by 70 mm (1.02 x 2.76 Inches).
Hallmarks: Both hooks are stamped with ancient French marks, the maker's marks and the gold mark for the assay and the warranty of the 18kt gold.
Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in the settings. These piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
