About the Item
French jewelry artist Henry Perichon (aka Henry) designed these stunning Talosel resin clip-on earrings in the 1960s. These rare pieces feature a brown-beige Talosel resin frame topped with metallic bronze and green glass faceted cabochons, complemented by dangling charms. There is no visible maker's mark, but the style and the French wire clip-back are unmistakable brand signatures.
The earrings are in good condition, with minor wear due to age.
Dimensions: 1 in wide (2.5 cm) by 2.07 in high (5.2 cm).
Reference: Henry Perichon (1910-1970), whose artist name was Henry, is one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio was in Lyon, where he worked on bronze, silver, white metal, or Talosel resin mediums. His style is difficult to define, reflecting a diverse range of influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s and 1960s, such as Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillère, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
