Please check out the HD video. This is a very special pair of earrings. Made with the best imperial jade beads. They GLOW! The jade in these earrings are certified to be natural jadeite jade. The earrings are set in 18k white gold. There are 2 imperial green jade beads (just under 7mm) and approximately 0.35cts of white diamonds that make up these earrings. The imperial green jade beads are un-drilled and can be used to complete an important jade bead necklace. This pair of jade earrings are made with best of the best green color with high degree of translucency. In the trade we call this imperial jade! The beads are very noticeable, it glows! The icy imperial green jade is simple and classic just showing off its natural beauty. The color really pops. You can see these earrings from far far away! The untreated / un-enhanced natural jade beads are well polished showing off its highly sort after imperial green color. The earrings are about 4cm x 1cm. Photos does not do these earrings justice. IMPERIAL JADE
The term “imperial jade” is often misused in many jade sale listings because true imperial jade is extremely rare and expensive.
True imperial jade must have BOTH a strong saturation of green AND a high degree of translucency. Natural Material meeting both of these conditions is very uncommon and hardly seen. Color saturation and translucency are indirectly proportional. Material with a stronger saturation of color is more dense and less translucent. The opposite holds true as well.
