This pair of vintage, Italian, 18K yellow gold corkscrew earrings measure almost 2 3/4 inches in length, making them impossible to miss by any casual observer. Width at the top is 3/4 inch and at the bottom is 5/8 inch. Tops and corkscrew bottoms are connected by a hinge which allows for freedom of movement whenever the wearer strides, adding even more visual delight. This is a pair, no doubt created in the Mid to Late-20th century, that positively evokes the spirit of Italian "La Dolce Vida." Inside, they are each stamped Italy, 18K and bear the workshop mark for gold items crafted in Alessandria Italy. Equipped with Omega style clip-backs and posts which have been professionally added. Posts can be removed prior to shipping, at the buyer's request, and at no cost. Gross weight 27.15 grams.
