About the Item
Diamonds hearts clips-on earrings designed by O. J. Perrin Joaillier.
This is a beautiful pair of dangle drops clips-on earrings created in Paris France by the jewelry house of O. J. Perrin, back in the 1980. The earrings were carefully crafted with hearts shaped patterns at the jewelry atelier of Andre Vassort in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Embellished with a magnificent French pave setting, composed by seventy calibrated natural earth mined diamonds and two faceted carvings of translucent rock quartzes. They are completely movable and are fitted at the reverse with French omega backs for fastening clips. The addition of gold posts for pierced ears may be easily done on special request.
Diamond: Mount in a French pave setting, with 70 calibrated round brilliant cut diamond, with a total weight of about 2.84 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
Rock Quartz: Mount in bezel settings, with 2 well matched trillion faceted cuts of natural translucent rock quartzes with a combined weight of about 16 carats.
Weight: 17.3 Grams, (11.10 Dwt).
Measurements: 30 mm by 19 mm by 9 mm (1.18 x 0.75 x 0.35 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with French marks, twice with the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's mark AV inside a lozenge cartouche associated to the jewelry atelier of Andre Vassort, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed in full as follows, "O.J. PERRIN PARIS OR .750 AV".
O. J. Perrin Joaillier
O. J. Perrin is a French jewelry and watchmaking company founded in Paris in 1969 by the designer O. J. Perrin. This company focuses its operations on the design, production and marketing of gems, watches, jewelry and perfumes. O. J. Perrin has been in business for almost 37 years. It is headquartered in Paris, at 33 avenue Victor Hugo. Ralph Aljord currently holds the position of manager within the company. At the beginning of the 1960s, O.J. Perrin was established on Rue Royale in Paris and opened a second boutique on Avenue Victor Hugo, a few meters from the famous Place de l'Étoile. The brand's creative lines have been distributed in Japan, Monte-Carlo and Marbella.
