A remarkably preserved late Art Deco / early Retro emerald and diamond suite, circa 1935–1945, masterfully crafted in solid 14K white gold. This complete three-piece set includes a pair of dramatic diamond-set emerald drop earrings and a matching scalloped-halo ring, all presented in the original period box. Fully matched Art Deco emerald suites of this caliber are exceptionally rare and highly desirable among serious collectors.
Each piece centers a richly saturated Colombian emerald of exceptional color — deep, vivid green with superb crystal and antique hand-cut faceting. These emeralds present considerably larger than their millimeter measurements, consistent with pre-war Colombian stones. The ring’s emerald faces as a 2.60–2.65 ct stone, while the earring emeralds present at 1.45–1.50 ct each, contributing to an impressive combined emerald presence of ~3 carats.
Surrounding each emerald are beautifully preserved old European–cut and old mine–style diamonds, bright, high-clarity stones typical of top-tier Deco craftsmanship. These diamonds average VS clarity, with hand-applied milgrain details and fully hand-pierced under-galleries — an unmistakable marker of pre-WWII workmanship.
