About the Item
This is a rare pair of Victorian Bohemian Garnet and Pearl Dangle Drop Earrings in 10 Karat Gold. The exquisite earrings have a swirl motif design set with gorgeous Bohemian Garnet cabochons with Pearl accents. The lovely jewels are set in a 10 Karat Gold braided border in a teardrop shape drop. The earrings have shepherd hooks. The color of the Garnets is absolutely wonderful. The earrings are a perfect size and an absolute delight. With elegant romantic design and the use of Garnets and Pearls, the earrings are exquisite examples of Victorian jewelry making. The earrings date to circa 1850-1900.
The earrings are 1 inch (26mm) long including the hooks and 3/8 inch (9mm) wide. The drop portion is 1/2 inch long without the bales and hook.
The earrings are 10 Karat Gold.
