About the Item
14k yellow gold drop earrings with two vintage Wedgwood Jasperware round medallions, with the “Wedgwood” stamp behind each.
Jasperware medallions were bezel-set into these new earrings, that were custom designed for these objects.
The earrings have French back clips and a cluster of diamonds on the bottom, 6 round-shaped weighing 0.34 carats total.
The motifs on the medallions are cherubs, engaged in activities suggesting love, artistry and learning. The color of each cherub is a white relief and Wedgwood classic "basalt" black matte finish in the background; these are characteristic of Wedgwood’s iconic jasperware technique.
