About the Item

A pair of Vintage Egyptian handmade Diamond Huggies or Clips in 18 Yellow Gold. Openwork shields with flowers connected, with borders in Black Enamel. One diamond flower can be rotated around. Folding locks. Egyptian hallmarks for 18K. Circa 1920 - 1950s. Solid 18K Yellow Gold + 20 rose cut Diamonds, all have backs closed and foiled under. 12 stones about Ø 5 mm / 0.46 ct each + four minor stones ca Ø 2.5 mm / ca 0.06 ct each / total ca 5 ctw. Each earring is 24 mm x 18 mm x 13 mm deep. Each flower with stones Ø13 mm. Weight: 11 grams pair. Used, in Fine condition. No missing stones, a minor loss of Enamel. Likely initially there were sticks to to help the folding locks to hang on. That is possible to attach the sticks again. The locks are very tight and in perfect shape.
