About the Item
These beautiful drop earrings feature over 11 carats of ultra fine, vivid rubellite tourmaline gems set with sparkling diamonds in 18k yellow gold. These tourmalines are from a very old stock of tourmaline, the quality of which is not found today. They are cushion-cut and each stone measures 12 x 9mm, impressive enough to be center stones in rings, so this beautifully matched pair is a rare find. They are a rich, vibrant red-pink and exceptionally clean, which is unusual for gems with such well-saturated color. They have been bezel set by hand in custom-made settings and dangle from "puffed" satin-finished tops set with fine, brilliant-cut natural white diamonds. The earrings have elegant movement and are perfect for both daytime wear and elegant evenings. The earrings have 18k posts with luxurious oversized "monster" backs for extra comfort. Handcrafted by our Master Jewelers in Los Angeles, these beauties will make a stunning addition to your fine jewelry wardrobe!
