About the Item
These exquisite vintage earrings feature a looping ribbon motif that prominently showcases prong-set emerald-cut emeralds. The emeralds have a combined weight of approximately 1.90 carats and are transparent, displaying a bright, saturated green hue.
The design is enhanced by calibré-cut emeralds, which are bezel-set and channel-set throughout the ribbon motif. These emeralds are well matched, with a total weight of approximately 0.78 carats.
Additionally, the earrings are adorned with old European, marquise, and baguette-cut diamonds, which weigh approximately 1.86 carats in total. The diamonds exhibit G/H color and clarity ranging from VS to I. They are skillfully set using bead, prong, and bezel techniques throughout the ribbon motif and floral clusters.
The earrings feature posts and hinged omega backs. They have been tested as 14-karat white gold and date back to the early 1950s.
