About the Item
Eytan loves the look of a long wire drop earring, especially if he can add a little angle to the dangle. For these fun new earrings, his wires take a little zig and a little zag, with a brief interruption for a bezel containing a white diamond (about 0.06 carats each, H/SI1).
At the bottom of each earring is another bezel, cast from a wax mold hand-sculpted by Eytan specifically to fit a pair of rose cut, pear-shaped red diamonds. Eytan fell in love with these stones when he found them at a trade show in 2023, and we think these earrings -- modern and mismatched -- are the perfect showcase for them. They are chock-full of thready schmutz, which has the effect of deepening their fierce rusty-red color, and the cut is perfect because, despite being nearly opaque, these ARE diamonds, so they can't help but sparkle.
The total diamond weight of the red diamonds is 3.02 carats, so the total diamond weight overall is 3.14 carats.
These earrings are about 2" long and weigh 3.3 grams.
