About the Item
A stunning pair of Georgian Revival earrings from the late Victorian era (circa 1870–1890), these romantic jewels glitter with rose cut diamonds set in silver over 14k rose gold. Their design reflects the 19th-century fascination with earlier Georgian styles, blending antique inspiration with Victorian craftsmanship.
The earrings feature detachable long drops, allowing them to be worn in two elegant ways—either as understated day jewels or as dramatic evening adornments. They are fitted with back-to-front hinged closures, a construction detail typical of the period.
Measuring 2.1 inches from top to bottom by 0.8 inches across, the earrings are beautifully proportioned and offered in very good condition. The gold and silver content has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming purity and integrity.
