A rare pair of seriously elegant Antique Pearl Droplet Earrings created around 1920 which was undoubtedly the era of the long earring; a key accessory for the modern woman breaking from tradition to create her flapper style look. Crafted in silver tone metal with an adorable array of glass simulated pearls including teardrops. A swans neck hook gives way to a full pearl stud top leading to an exquisitely modelled vine style panel from which five rows of pearls cascade in a graduated formation. In very good antique condition including the pearls, 8.5cms. A truly beautiful, elegant and feminine pair of earrings. Exquisitely delicate detail yet perfectly impactful due to their length.
