Elegant pair of antique Victorian star drop earrings (circa 1870s to 1880s) crafted in 14k yellow gold.
Rich red rubies are estimated at 0.10 carats each (0.20 carats total estimated weight).
The charming earrings are set with rich red rubies, with white star enameled surrounds. The back of the earrings feature compartments that can be opened to add a small photo or keepsake. With patina evident the earrings measure 1 1/2 inches in length and are great for day or evening wear. The earrings are fitted with screw backings for pierced or non-pierced ears.
The earrings are in good original condition with patina evident. We have not cleaned them in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
