These earrings are hand-sculpted in glass, then molded to create a lost-wax model and a metal casting. Like all Fillancq earrings, the posts are made of 925 sterling silver. Plated with 24K champagne-colored gold, they are 4 centimeters long.
Decidedly sculptural, like what inspired Marion Fillancq for these long earrings: the blades carved during the Stone Age. A balance between raw and delicate, brilliant and graphic.

“I found in the cutting of hard rocks a language. A proof of our humanity. Something alive. A sharp beauty that speaks about us, about our evolution, our fragility, and our senses,” says jewelry designer Marion Fillancq.
First a glass sculptor, then a jeweler, the French artist quickly distinguishes herself by developing an artistic and innovative approach: using techniques from the Stone Age traditionally used on flint to make arrowheads and applying them to crystal.
She creates unique jewelry around the “Primitive Beauty” concept.
