About the Item
Very beautiful versatile wearable ear clips, consist of an oval natural colored artificial pearl with a dark grey silver artificial pearl hanging from it, to match the following Chanel Sautois. Signed MOSELL US around 1950s

Frederick Mosell founded his namesake company in 1940 in New York City. While the name of the business was Frederick Mosell Jewelry, the pieces he produced were simply marked Mosell. He was the owner of the company as well as the designer for the business.
The first jewelry collection made by Mosell’s company was introduced in April of 1941. According to the A through M edition of American Costume Jewelry Art
Industry, 1935-1950 by Carla Brunialti and Roberto Brunialti, several figural pieces were patented by the business that year, including “Ram,” “A Night at the Opera,” and “Couple of Maltese Dogs.” Several other figurals were produced, and all are popular with collectors today.
