Introducing the Botanique Dusky Petals Earring —a masterpiece of heritage ware meticulously handcrafted from wild tamarind seeds. The brown seeds form a floral-like structure with black accents on the edges, giving a more compact, flower-petal look, evoking dusk and evening beauty. The black seeds are dyed with a non-toxic cloth dye. This earring made of seeds which are lovingly sewn together will add a touch of sophistication and uniqueness to the wearer. This piece presented is only a snapshot of the broad range of custom-made products produced by the hands of master artisan Antiguan and Barbudan women who specialize in seedwork—created out of the wild tamarind and other seeds such as the jumbie bead seeds. Customizable, clients can also opt for the reverse black and brown design. Botanique proudly preserves the island's unique seedwork skills, an intangible cultural heritage reflecting the triumphs of its people—it's more than a craft; it's the story of our lives.
