These Plum Flowers cocktail earrings with cabochon natural garnets are made of 18 karat yellow gold and encrusted with 10 natural round diamonds. This is a piece from the contemporary jewellery collection, which was featured in a review by Vogue UA. We use top natural diamonds, VS clarity and F-G color, and we work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design provides an extra shiny surface of the flowers and a subtle play of shadow and light. The diamonds add delicate blinks to these contemporary earrings, and the cabochon drops are open for the light. These earrings are larger than the classical Plum Blossom earrings and are even more noticeable. While the classic version can be worn casually, these earrings have a more formal and even royal look.
The plum flowers symbolize the energy of life, as they bloom in the middle of February during the winter season. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
