A pair of Edwardian pearl and diamond drop earrings, each earring a run of eight old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1 carat, each millegrain rubover-set in platinum collets, graduating to the base, suspending a tear-drop shaped natural pearl with rose-cut diamond-set cap, each pearl measuring approximately 10.5 x 7mm, with platinum peg fitting, circa 1910, the earrings measuring approximately 4 x 0.7cm long, gross weight 6.3 grams.
A pair of Edwardian pearl and diamond earrings in good condition for its age with minimal signs of wear. Unmarked, tested as platinum, with 18ct gold fittings and silver caps.
These lovely pearl earrings are a delightful example of the elegance of the Edwardian era from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to His Majesy King Charles III. A shimmering line of light ends with a luminous tear drop in this classic pairing of diamonds and pearls.
