A pair of mid-Victorian garnet and gold earrings, each earring with an ornate scrolled mount, set with and oval, a round and a pear-shaped cabochon garnets, with gold wire fittings, all mounted in 15 carat gold, bearing French Assay marks, circa 1850, measuring 7.4cm long, gross weight 13 grams.

Charming 18 karat gold repoussé scrolling and articulated earrings from early 19th Century. The design reminds me of the lyre harp and set with beautiful faceted garnets.
